More Austin pictures and an update...

Austin is doing great! Growing like a weed. We can't believe how much he continues to change each and everyday. He is rolling over like crazy from his back to his tummy. He can roll either right or left from his back. He is still working on rolling from his tummy to his back. He is holding himself up on his elbows, as you will see in some of the pictures of him on his tummy. He loves being on his tummy and playing when he is well rested. He will even sometimes push off with his feet to scoot around on the floor. He still loves bath time and smiles through the whole thing. It is true that they learn things at an early age. I can tell him it is bath time and lay him down on the bathroom counter and he just smiles. You would think that he really knows what is coming. John and I are both hoping that he will love swimming at the lake as much as we do. I guess if the weather stays warm we will get to find out soon!

Somebody loves sleeping on his tummy!

Yea! Austin has slept through the night for 5 nights in a row. Now those of you who know babies know that is considered from 11-5. But hey, Mommy will take whatever she can get. She has not be able to sleep for 6 or more hours in a row since December 7. So on a normal night we try to start around 8:00, Mommy gives Austin a bath, we enjoy a book together, we eat and then we are off to bed.

Waiting on the CF card for the new camera. It should come in today so I will have lots of pictures to post soon!

4 months old!

Lots has happened over the past month. Austin is growing like crazy. He weighed 17 pounds 8 ounces, that is in the 90th percentile for his age group, at the doctor last week. This just confirms that breastfeeding is still going great! All that hard work in the beginning is paying off. He is getting taller also, he measured just about 27 inches. He can roll over from his back to his tummy. Now that he is able to roll over and has much better control of his head the doctor said that he could sleep on his tummy. Austin is thrilled and so is mommy. He likes it much better and has actually slept through the night 4 times in the past week. Austin is enjoying spending more time on his tummy and can hold his head up really well now. Mommy better Austin proof the house, it won't be long how until he figures out how to move. Other than that we spend our days running errands and hanging out at the house. Mommy got her new camera today so she will post some pictures later.

My new favorite toy!

Mommy found a bargain at Babies'R'Us and I am so glad. I'm having a blast playing in my new jumperoo.

Easter Pictures

Austin had a wonderful first Easter. We spent Saturday afternoon at Great Grandma Reid's house. Austin helped Mommy hunt for eggs. The weather was perfect for egg hunting in the back yard. We got up and he saw his Easter basket with a few goodies for him. We got dressed and went to church. He is sometimes trying to sing along with the songs. Then we went to lunch at Grandpa and Grandma Wilkin's house. It was also Grandpa Wilkins birthday. We came home and took a bath and went to sleep. It was a very long and busy weekend.
