11 months old!

Daddy and Mommy are wondering where the last year has gone. Everyone always tells you to enjoy your children because time goes by way to fast, well we are learning that they are right. It seems like just yesterday Austin was born. He is moving around really fast now. He will pull up on things to get around where he can and if that is not an option he crawls very fast wherever he wants to go. He can stand for a while without holding on to anything. He still has only 4 teeth, 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom. He is eating everything Mommy and Daddy do. One of his favorites seems to be oranges, but he does a good job of eating just about everything. He can say, "mama (when he is looking at me :-)), bye bye, dada," and several other sounds but we have not figured out what they are yet. Mommy found a bargain the other day so Austin got one of his birthday presents early. He is too young to know the difference, so we will spread them out a little this year. The good news is he loves playing with it. It will even help keep him occupied when Mommy is trying to cook, YEA! I will add pictures later. It is a wooden maze toy that also has storage inside for all his other toys.

My 1st haircut

On Saturday I got my first real haircut. Mommy and Grammie had done a little trimming before but this time I actually got it cut by a real barber with real clippers. I am lucky enough that Uncle Dee is a pro at cutting hair. Daddy has been going to him for years. No tears or anything. Mommy and Daddy think I am even more handsome now. Thank you Uncle Dee!

Helping Mommy...

around the house. Austin is very busy these days. He can stand all by himself and say "Mama." Yesterday he was trying to help me empty the dishwasher and get ready for dinner. He has also figured out that Daddy spends lots of time in the garage. As you will see it won't be long until he can open the door and help Daddy.

One of my newest toys...

is a wonderful hand-me-down from the Riders. Daddy and I had fun playing in the garage with it today.

Yes, Grammie got a new puppy. Here is a video of Austin playing with her. We are helping Grammie some days, with letting Daisy out and playing with her.
