Fun inside the house

With this crazy weather in Texas, Austin is having fun playing inside the house. These pictures were taken over the weekend.

Mommy went shopping when Toys'r'us had a sale and I got some new and fun toys. This is one of them, a sand and water table. Since it was cold this weekend Mommy set it up in the kitchen and let me play in the water. I had so much fun!

Move over trashcan, I think it might be fun to sit in your holder. I was right! Even a smile for the camera.

I love my boots from Uncle Clint.

They are perfect for playing in the water on our patio after it rains.

Not so perfect for trying to climb up my slide.
That is about the only thing I haven't figured out how to climb on.

I love helping Daddy in the garage.

Especially when he lets me drive the car. I am becoming more of a Daddy's boy. I want to be with him all the time when he is in the garage. As the weather starts to warm up even more we will be spending more and more time outside. A friend of Mommy's is giving us her swing set that her boys have outgrown, Austin can't wait to play on it. It has a slide, swings and things to climb on. I can't wait!

Fieldtrip to the Irving Fire Station

Of course, the best part of the day... driving the Fire Engine.

Inside the Ambulance, lots of the neat things to help sick people.
Really big tires.
Running to Mommy!
Standing on the back of the Fire Engine.

15 month Dr. check up

Austin went to the doctor today for his 15 month check up. Yes I can't believe that our little boy will be 15 months old on Sunday. He is for sure past the baby stage and is now a toddler. He was 33 inches tall and 27 pounds 10 ounces, that is in the 90% for both height and weight. Dr. Robert gave him an "A" for his skill development. I have to brag, yes I know those parents drove me nuts when I was teaching, but he has been doing most everything on the skill sheet for a while now. What can I say we are very proud parents. He got 2 shots and does not have to go back to the doctor until he is 2. He loves being outside and going for walks. He is learning to feed himself with a fork and so far doing a great job. He can say mama, dada, no, yes, bye-bye, and a few others that we are not sure about yet, but only when he wants to. I guess that is because he is a boy. Each day is such a blessing with Austin. I love being his Mommy!
